Lynchburg is the seat of Moore County,
Tennessee's smallest county. Even though Moore County has been home to the
Jack Daniel Distillery since before Mr. Jack received his license to
distill back in 1866, it is a dry county and has been dry ever since Prohibition.
The centerpiece of most small towns like Lynchburg is the downtown square. While you're on
the square take a look around.
